You make my point very different systems. I can slam into park if needed. End of story or Tranny. Oh well. Also as someone who learned to drive w/ manual. Why not just shift to 1st and dump clutch? wont stop but sure puts the brakes on so to speak. fark the mechanics. hind sight is always 20/20.

It's against the law to wear earplug and drive... We also have to pass a hearing test be it a whisper. I can't hear from flying in the military and have to take a real hearing test....

I always thought the same thing until I did a little research. Surprisingly that's not true! For example California:

PS. The earplug sup should be fired.

Yes, drivers have had no training on any alarm system. There was no indication that it was or could be a hazardous situation. The sup must have known or have been able to find out what the alarm meant.
