Blind hatred of Christianity? Wrong. The Western nations that allow the construction of mosques were in many cases allowed to do so because their constitutions permitted it. God and Allah had nothing to do with it. Anyway before your next sermon show us your degree in ancient religions if you want us to pay attention to what you have to say in regard to this matter.
I forget, you're allowed to smear Christians, but I'm obviously uninformed. I grew up in a family of ministers and have read history books ad nauseam. The only reason Muslims don't dominate the world today is the West developed military technology that ultimately stopped their advances. But history is replete with their constant attacks and for awhile subjugation of Christian areas. And they still dominate what was once Christian land in the Middle East. Ask southeastern Europe. Ask Constantinople. Ask the Armenians. Crack a history book and learn a thing or two.

Do you have any formal post high school education in the specific discipline? Furthermore your comments are conclusive proof that you hate Muslims just as much as you accuse me of hating Christians.....And your hatred of Muslims is cleared founded in your growing fear of them.

My concern about Muslims stems from a long history of attacking the West, long before oil was an issue. To point out the obvious isn't hate. Not to mention I spent 4 months in predominantly Muslim countries last year. I don't have a degree but have spent a lifetime reading, something a lot of college grads can't say. I know enough to know what it's about when Muslims slaughter hundreds in Mumbai, Nairobi, Paris, or New York. And thousands of other attacks elsewhere. Which is why it's alarming that a liberal administration went to great lengths to appease the Iranians concerning building nuclear weapons. Neville Chamberlain tried the same thing with the Nazis. How'd that turn out?

I think the man just gave you of a recitation of history he said he has read. Disprove his understanding of history if you choose to do the heavy lifting.

Since you are unwilling to respond with a differing view, you attack him personally.
Do the hard work first, then attack him personally if the need arises.

Christianity has plenty of blood on it's hands as well. The only difference is that it's not as recent . It's like I said earlier civilizations have spent the last 8000+ years destroying each other over the question of who's God is the true God and who loves him more all done in the pursuit of power and control over the masses and judging by recent events mankind will continue the practice for centuries to come.

You are confusing Islamists with Muslims.

Really?
There is a mosque in my city that has decent, law abiding, tax paying citizens living in the residences across the street.

Every Friday the street is essentially blocked by taxi's parked by worshipping "muslims". Emergency equipment couldn't get through if they needed to. The police have been informed. "there's nothing we can do" they say.

When confronted about the issue, the muslims have said, "...we own the street.".

Really?

And if Islamists make up just 10% of the Muslim population that's working towards our downfall that's more than Germany and Japan combined in WWII. Have said it before, not worried about average Muslims who don't want to hurt anyone. I'm worried about the significant number who believe they must follow the Koran to the letter and are actively seeking to destroy us. Most likely that will be terrorist attacks forever. But if they obtain WMD's....

That’s almost 50% of them.

Christianity's true sore spot is the treatment of native, non-Christian people in numerous countries. But as I've pointed out people who do such things aren't practicing Christianity. Can claim it, aren't practicing it. But right here right now we have countries that allow freedom of speech, freedom of movement, freedom of assembly, freedom of worship. And others who don't. Guess which ones were founded on Christian principles?

actually the country founded on Christian principals kind of sucked. Black people were property, women were second class and being gay was illegal. The country your currently living in, which is one of the freest when it comes to personal freedom has slowly been abandoning its Christian roots.

It was it's Christian roots that allowed it to progress and abandon slavery and other societal ills. That it's abandoning it's Christian roots is clearly demonstrated in it's sexual promiscuity, abortion, decadent media.

Scratch that the country your currently living in is a :censored2: hole. I meant the country I’m currently living in.
Right now I'm eating excellent Greek food at a beautiful open air mall with a gorgeous view. Outside temps are low 70's. The cost is a little over half of what this meal would cost in the States.

It was very hit or miss. The religious principles you are talking about are not “Christian” they are philosophical principles that would of been arrived at under any religion or without religion.

Compare Christianity to the Roman Empire. Christianity was a revolution in the world it sprang from.

It's most definitely a sin. As are a number of other things. But Jesus never asked anyone to kill in his name.

Doesn't change the fact people still killed in his name lol. Do I need to show you lists of murders and atrocities Christians have also committed in history?

I did some reading today and I also found these verses, by the way:

"Deuteronomy 25:11-1: If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity."

"When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again."
Exodus 21: 7-8

"Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery." (Luke 16:18)

"Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse." (1 Peter 2:18)

So yall got questions about this particular religion or? Are yall just goin back n forth for argument sake. If anyone is really interested in learning about a belief or trying to better understand it, why not jusy go to a mosque and ask the imaam there?
This honestly needs to be done more often if people want to chat :censored2: about Islam.

I honestly don't get why someone would criticize something yet not even talk to believers of that faith about it, it's incredibly hypocritical.
