It's Official

Place your bets folks. How long before Dilli has the hubby meet her on route for a "interaction" in the back of HER package car on HER route? I say they already snuck into the center last night but that's just me knowing Dilli.

My official bet is 9 working days.

Not sure why on earth a person would want one route day after day...

There are pros and cons on being a casual or a FT bid driver. When I was a casual I enjoyed the challenge of having a different route every day. The change of scenery and dealing with different people broke up the monotony. As a FT bid driver it is nice to know where I am going every day and I have developed good working relationships with my customers. It is also nice to spend my meal break at home.

I will be abused on this rte for the first week or two. LOL After that, it's 9.5's. My OR already knows this. He changed the rte around, but I don't know yet what he has put on it. It'll take a couple of weeks to get the trace fixed.

You know, I almost said that. The first thing they'll do is throw 20 more stops on it just to see if you'll do it.

Be prepared for the OJS... not yet, but after a few months, when they know you are comfortable with the route.

It's rural mostly, AK. 2 different towns (sometimes 3 if they really want to :censored2: it up) 1 Post office, Casino, schools from 2 different towns. All the blah blah blah. A lot of resi and very few pickups. Usually will avg 110-120 miles unless they really :censored2: it up. I've had nearly 170 miles on it. Unfortunately, it is also a rte that gets broke out. Bastards, did it yesterday. So I got stuck on a rte that I hate. 135 stops and I didn't clock out til 9pm. Of course the center manager says, "I will try and get you some help." I told him, "Forgive me if I don't hold my breathe." I didn't, he didn't. No big surprise there. I'm supposed to be on lay off this week, If I had remembered to ask yesterday morning when I got a call to come to work, I would have stayed home. Told the center manager that to. :wellduh:
