Labor woes stacking up for UPS

Seems kind of inconsiderate of them to wait until this moment to thrust their issues into the mix. Being that we are just going into negotiations ourselves

I dont think we would do that to them if the situation were reversed. For example; If they had brought these issues up a couple years ago, we wouldnt have tried to inject our own issues into the mix and possibly take the spotlight off of them. We would support their strike and wait until it was resolved before pushing our own issues.

These issues have been going on for years. They can't strike because they fall under the railway act. More pressure on UPS management the better it will work out for us

Good luck with that strike talk. Good thing your check comes from the teamsters and not UPS. Oh, wait a minute.....
The company only pays us anything because slavery is illegal, workers collective action fought for the FLSA (among other pro-worker laws), and the union bargains for a fair compensation package.
Otherwise the brown shirt nazis (and the rest of Corporate America) would enslave us.

During a strike it does come from the teamsters. Never have unstood management that posts in a union forum
Ups would gladly pay you the same amount the teamsters do during a strike. Besides, you are paying yourself, not the teamsters. Kinda like a tax refund.
