Interesting. I've already had mine replaced once but might as well get a new one before the end of the year.


Although storage is a serious issue for me.

If photos are part of the cause, Google Photos is a great solution. Can upload everything and then tap "Free up space" in the app. Clears out everything that's already been backed up to the cloud. Solved my problem of having to have all of my photos on my phone's storage if I also wanted them on iCloud. Now I just skip iCloud.

Pay the .99 for 50gigs of iCloud storage a month and have your photos stored there instead of your phone. I buy a $15 iTunes card once a year and it auto bills the credit loaded. I don’t buy anything on iTunes so it auto deducts the balance.

I have a 64gig 6+, it runs a bit slow at times and battery life is a problem now, but I’ll wait till the end of the year to change it out as I don’t plan on upgrading till I can get a used unlocked 8+ sub $600
