Master of Karate and Friendship for Everyone
If it's worth shutting the world down in order to "save lives" we should've shut the highway system down a long time ago. Wouldn't be able to go anywhere or run a modern civilization but everyone would be safe from traffic deaths. So why not?
If we're listening to the CDC for everything, according them there are 480,000 tobacco-related deaths annually. Instead of taxing it, why not outlaw the growth, sale, and importation of tobacco? We're trying to save lives, remember?
Now in a world of nearly 8 BILLION we've had less than 3 million confirmed cases and less than 200k deaths and this is supposed to have me panicking in fear for my life to the point that when this is all over, I'll look back say that tens of millions losing their livelihood and deep economic scars that will change the country forever were all worth it.
