Put your pkg on porch off to the side. (Out of sight-ish) in a dry spot against the house. Or halfway under the mat so it doesn’t blow away. Put in a bag if porch is wet. Vs on the bottom step in the rain like you often see. Ring or knock (much of the competition doesn’t). Reduces theft.
That’s the quality that puts you above the rest. If the consignee doesn’t request UPS, the shipper might just go with the cheapest service. Don’t dumb yourself down to the cheapest.

It used to be the norm for online merchants to give consumers the choice as to who they wanted to deliver their orders. Not anymore-----it is very hard to find an online merchant who still does this.

If the consignee sees no extra value by using the most expensive option (UPS), the shipper has no reason to use the most expensive option.
