    Is Taylor also guilty when RPCD’s start getting laid off on Monday?
    Why wouldn’t they have the after 4 year language for the 22.4’s then?

    The company can lay you off Monday now and work the cheaper guy Saturday

    There is no evidence that they have done that anywhere

    I’m asking what your settlement was with the language that calls for a meeting with the district labor manager

    You said it would be zero result

    How do you know that if it’s not been done?

    This is the language we currently work under for 9.5 greivances and the 5 month will be extended to a calendar year in the proposed agreement

    Yet. New England supplement negotiated language that protects RPCD from such a layoff.

    They could change the work load now without a labor manager. They will not agree and it will be settled months after if at all.

    So you are saying the language that has not been used to your knowledge doesn’t work

    But now the people that bargained this contract got a 12 month period instead of a five month opt in period to make it more possible.

    Sounds like they were not asleep at the wheel, but more aware that half of the language that was supposed to fix the problem for guys that truely wanted a reduction of overtime —- not just a penalty pay check.

    This is a positive step in making this language actually useful

    The proposal is bad.
    You can take your Union politics and shove it, most of us don't care about that crap.

    All of our 1-4 year guys without route are on the 9.5 list that want to be. There's plenty of loopholes for someone that knows what they're doing.

    22.4, and feeder and surepost subcontracting are the ones that matter to me. There are plenty of other things, which you're already aware of Tony.
