You have a crappy contractor. Not really- pay people for the work they do- this job pays way below minimum wage
Exactly. If you sign up for conditions that horrible and stick with it, that’s not on your contractor. If you're working the kind of hours at a per diem rate that nets you less than minimum wage, you need to find a better contractor within FXG or find another job. Period.
Then they should go get a minimum wage job. I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t at that point? Is slinging cardboard fun?Not really- pay people for the work they do- this job pays way below minimum wage
So many unknowns about this h/d job-
new people start new not knowing what actually goes on until they see all these packages. Then when forced to work, they quit!- something has to be done better about this job to keep drivers-
With our terminal off Monday, a usual light Tuesday will turn into a very heavy Tuesday ? or will they hold some packages back?
Volunteered-----double time.
Forced-----triple time.
Nah. If one is forced, all get triple. So punish the workers that help you out by giving them double instead of triple?
Nah. If one is forced, all get triple.
Nobody asked you.Holiday should always be triple time.
177 packages delivered.......$110 take home pay. What is fair about that?

it's not fair. But the driver has the right to say "to hell with that" after the first day and go get a job cleaning pools or cooking food or whatever else is hiring with comparable pay. If you agree to horrible terms, the onus is on you to move on from them. It's not on the contractor to change his terms.177 packages delivered.......$110 take home pay. What is fair about that?
Great question!How many stops?
I've ran routes that I've easily delivered over 100 pcs within the first hour.177 packages delivered.......$110 take home pay. What is fair about that?
