Not sure why "inflated" would be used. A Ponzi, by definition is the misrepresentation of an asset's value for the purpose of enticing investors.
Taxpayers are Ponzi investors theoretically with no yield. A sixth….lordy

That's why that fund was created and funded by the banking institutions. Sure, the money initially came from the depositors and borrowers, but that's the same as home, car and life insurances. The FDIC shouldn't be coming to the government for additional funds to cover the loss, hopefully.

they probably refered to it in teh interview as "superpower".
When WWII ended the U.S. was the only industrial power that was intact. There was a meeting in 1944, called the Bretton Woods Agreement, of the Western allies that established the U.S. Dollar as the world's reserve currency. The U.S. Navy kept shipping lanes open and free from piracy. That was the beginning of the global trade system we have today. Of course we developed nukes too. All that made us a superpower with only the Soviet Union as a serious rival. Now that system is falling apart. Other countries don't want to be dictated to. If we were the global monster you portray us to be we'd act just like Russia and bully them into keeping the status quo. Even invade them. We were never about putting our boots on others necks. We were about trade, building markets. And keeping the world free from communism. Now the world is retreating into regional markets, not global. The U.S. is no longer willing to be the world's policeman and they don't want us to be either. So expect more and more invasions as the bigger countries want to dominate their neighbors. Maybe someday you'll realize that when the U.S. was keeping the peace, willing to expend blood and treasure, that it was a hell of a lot better than what we will be experiencing.

you do act just like russia probably even worse!

i think you were about control for US corporations.

how many billions have you given to ukraine? i think its over 100 billion. now look at the defense budgets of some major EU countries. this is another sign you are an empire. when the empire ends, your defense budget will come back to normal. maybe 100 billion, who knows.

you guys were going to nuke vietnam. thank ellsberg and all other anti war protestors for at least limiting the destruction.
