Never seen an employer like Costco respond to a union vote like this before. Thoughts?

Nonunion Costco locations have the same hourly pay rate as Costco locations covered by the Teamsters NMA. However nonunion locations don't have a pension or seniority rights.

I've always said from day one if a company treats their employes fairly and pays a living wage with a few benefits there is no need for a Union. I know several Costco employees and have never heard any of them complain about working conditions.
Agreed, have a family member work there and it sounds like a good gig, he has just under a thousand shares, never found out how they were acquired, as part of his pay or he bought them.

The wages are higher at the nonunion locations because of the Teamsters contract. Gotta pay them the same to keep them from unionizing.

as a reminder Jim Casey invited the Teamsters to organize UPS so the workers would always have first class pay and benefits

can you imagine a public company inviting in a union today?

he also saw the stock market as basically a scam run by (((financiers and globalists))); Casey was so far ahead of his time it's insane
