New driver getting sent home

I have been driving on saturdays pretty consistently. Other than that, not at all really. I have the option of asking other drivers if they want to go home and I can cover their routes, but I feel weird doing that.

Don't feel weird asking. That's the difference between you making money and not making money. I used to ask all the time. Very rarely do you strike out completely on someone wanting to go home.

If you qualify and your on the schedule to drive they have to either find you work or pay you 8hrs

I'd hate to give bad information and have read the article a few more times.

I believe you are correct. The portion saying "other than those employees attempting to transfer from part-time to fulltime positions" is saying they can not be considered probationary employees.

Still every PT-FT trying to qualify has always had a continuous 30 day trial period here.
