Reloads are only as good as the person who made them.

That being said, we are still shooting reloads my grandfather made.

My dad goes in there from time to time when his thumbs are not bothering him. His always go bang.

The sdve is a budget buy, so that could play some role, but a weapon in better than no weapon at all.

There's been factory batches recalled as well.

Reloads can be better than factory ammo but always view someone else's reloads with caution.

I've seen warnings like that about any gun modification too.
Like grips. I have some Hogue grips on my Beretta, but (supposedly) that could be used against me in court.

Finally found some 40 cal bullets online with Cheaper than Dirt (not!). Plated lead 180 grain Speer. $83.35 with tax and shipping for 500. Ugh!
