Curfews are essential to make sure the outbound volume, especially the air, gets out on time.

I understand the curfews. What I don't understand is sending guys home and loading up the rest of us knowing that we will be called in. I guess it saves money, but the complaints go though the roof.

The smart thing would be to send everyone out with a reduced dispatch to try to get rid of what they could.

They've done it here in the past. The majority opted to run a ode 05. The ones who demanded their 8 washed pkg cars.

That would make some sense if we didn't eat enough work for 10 routes and sent 7 guys home.

We then failed badly on Thursday because of the work we ate on Wednesday.

It was in the top 5 dumbest things I have ever seen UPS do in my 25 plus years.
