When the center fails, both sides are pushed to the left and right - bad news either way.
The Democratic Party is the center or slightly left. The Democratic Party has gigantic problems but being far left is just not one of them. the Democratic Party is mostly a moderate party, democratic voters picked Barack Obama, H. Clinton, and Joe Biden for President, far left voters aren’t nominating Obama, Clinton or Biden. I
keep asking what far left positions do them dems actually take? It’s defund the police, which not one dem leader endorses in fact Biden in the democratic primary specifically ran on giving the police more money and again democratic voters picked him with that message, or the green new deal, which I don’t know much about, but what I do know isn’t radical in any real sense, and paying people’s college loans, and getting a public health insurance option, that’s about all dems want to do, you may not like those policies, but are they far left policies? I don’t see it. mostly when people explain how the dems are far left it’s vague conspiratorial bs about an Obama apology tour, or being secretly for China or Muslim terrorist states, or trying to implement communism.
Meanwhile republican elected officials and voters believed Obama wasn’t born in America, many Republican voters believe h. Clinton is responsible for the deaths of dozens of people, many republican elected officials and voters believe trump is fighting a war against an ancient cabal that molests children and drinks their blood, many Republican elected officials and voters believe there was a massive multi state voter fraud scheme with no proof and want to over turn an election. Like to me all that stuff is radical as friend and so republicans at the national level are very radical and many Republican voters are extremely radical. This is not a both sides thing.
