I didn't say they lied. I'm sure the story is true. I'm sure Tesla's maintenance costs more when it's done. And I'm sure that fixing the listed types of issues is more common with 2019 Teslas.

I've also not said that it's cheaper to own or operate than a good used combustion car. I've not said everyone should buy one. With all the new EVs coming out now from different manufacturers, I predict fires, failures and recalls. Meanwhile, my Stone Age gas powered car keeps rolling along. If I need to refuel, it takes 5 minutes to do, and I’m off for another 350 miles. Simple. Gas stations everywhere. Still lookin for all those charging stations.

It's way more reliable. The reliability of getting from A to B cannot be matched. Electric motors are simply superior.

There is no wait to use the charger. I'm the only one allowed to use the charger. Anybody else is trespassing and might get shot.

Vehicle fires are very common even when not running or in an accident. Old wiring is a problem.
