On side effect of this administration's goal of switching all vehicles to electric power is that there is very little Electric Powered Farm Machinery.
So those high fuel prices are causing all farming associated industries to raise their own rates.
Which forces farmers to reduce their own expenses; to cut fuel costs= use less machinery = plant smaller fields.
Smaller fields results in fewer seasonal workers needed.
Quite a snowballing effect.

A lot of farmers owe a heck of a lot for their very expensive machinery. They don't have a choice but to grow as much as possible.

I just drove from OC California to AZ, nearly 400 miles. I saw plenty of Gas stations along the way. What I didn’t see were charging stations for EVs. While in California I saw hundreds of Teslas, yet even there I saw no charging stations. I asked my son, who lives there, if there were any, he said there were some, but not many. So I guess people with EVs stay close to home. That would explain why I didn’t see very many EVs in the middle of the desert highway.
You don't see them, because you do not know where they are. Nobody has any problem with a 400 mile road trip. It can be easily completed with a single, 15 minute stop on any route you describe. This is a non-issue.

I can't fix your blindness. That is one of the densest routes in the country for superchargers.

They are only needed for road trips, and you can make any day road trip you want in roughly the same time as a gas car.

Most superchargers can charge most Teslas 200 miles in 15 minutes.

You have more than a dozen places you can stop on that road trip, and all of them have bathrooms and food.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Bring the prices down, then we’ll talk. There still very expensive. Even if everything you say is true and they are useful. I think you and I agree they don’t plan to bring the price down. I think it’s because they don’t plan for most to drive at all, at least not with their own cars. Or at least that’s what they want. Most likely they want transportation to be an Uber style where you don’t own a car and you just call for a ride.

If your only complaint is cost, I can't help you.

Range, convenience, reliability, fire, maintenance, all the other objections are just stupid.
