And so it begins….
They've been discriminated against by big money and big gov't since the beginning. Not a biggie.
Nobody else can even make EV's in volume. The test is over, because the competition has to actually make the vehicles in order to be competition.

Tesla will continue selling everything it makes because nobody else is even making any.

This may be different. They’re vengeful bastards.

They've been this vengeful for a long time. I don't think they have any more means to use against Tesla than in the past, and now Tesla is a lot harder to hurt.

They nearly succeeded in killing the company a dozen times by various methods when it was smaller and weaker.

They were bullying a little kid. Now they're trying to bully him after he hit puberty and filled out some.

It can go a lot lower.

80% of nasdaq companies are down more than 50%. Nothing unique in Tesla's price action. It wouldn't be much different with no Elon drama.
Elon was smart enough to sell billions of his own stock recently. He sees the direction the market is going and knows Tesla being the greatest company in the history of mankind won't protect its share price.

He didn't sell because of seeing a downturn coming. If he were trying to maximize his own wealth, he'd have kept it.

He's not going to rebuy the same shares lower. Accumulation of wealth wasn't his game.

He tweeted that the stock price was too high, and that was 50% below the current price. He killed ten billion of his own value in a day with that tweet.

There was a crypto billionaire recently who lost it all when his particular crypto currency went to zero. Not saying Tesla will but there's a very real possibility the overall stock market will lose as much as 90%. Smart move on his part to put part of his wealth in cash. Because it's those billions that give him clout.

He doesn't even own a house and sleeps in spare bedrooms at friends houses, or on factory floors, while being the richest in the world.

The stock market isn't going to lose 90% and you don't believe it will. Tesla could get cut in half again. None of it matters. His wealth is safer where it is. Preserving it had nothing to do with the sales.

I believe there's a very real possibility we'll enter a depression. And yes stocks will lose up to 90%. All by the end of 2023. I believe that because a lot of very famous investors and economists have laid out the reasons why. We're at the start of the biggest crash in history.
