Listen...I love all my customers and do a damn fine job bending over backwards for every single one of them just like almost every single other person on here. HOWEVER...if I want to come on a message board to vent about anything regarding my job to fellow employees whom can relate to my miseries then who are you to question that. It's why this place exists really. Now please go have a Coke and a smile and STFU.

I'm sorry the media didn't cover the stories like mine. With the volume you guys handle I know there were more stories like mine than failures reported by the media.

UPS came thru for me numerous times this peak season. I had an oversized package from California ship on Dec. 16th arrive Dec. 20th to Florida. It was supposed to take 5 days, you guys got it here in 4!!! If you count the weekend it arrived 3 days early!!!!

I forgot 2 last minute gifts going to 2 different destinations. I ordered them on Dec. 20th, very late in the evening. The retailer had free 2day air. I didn't expect them to arrive until Thursday since they would not be shipped until Monday. It was a high volume retailer (not Amazon). The retailer shipped the product from their warehouse in Louisville with in an hour of ordering (after 10pm). Both items arrived Monday again a full day ahead of schedule during the busiest week!!!!

I want to say thank you for all the hard work you all do at UPS. Thank you for making your customers Christmas special. Thank you for busting your asses everyday. I wish the media would cover stories like mine.

I'm not angry in the least bit with you. I was just giving you guys some heads up. You are the ones who seem pretty bitter and wrapped around the axle. Pulling up 2year old post to boot. That was before the USPS started a major push towards small package right? You did well and I pointed it out TWO years ago... Last year most of the shipments came FDX, and USPS. Thanks for asking though.

As a matter of fact I'm in a very good mood. I just got word today of another FDX hub starting in January to be completed in September of next year. That makes number 5 just in one state. Again changes are coming.

Have fun getting the sand out of your ears when you decide to un-bury it.

I'll lurk from time to time and continue to watch you whine. Take Care

Nobody whining here Steve, unless it's your doom and gloom predictions for UPS

For as long as I remember, shippers have been telling us customers that it's UPS' fault. I had some things needed for a customer of mine last month. The company I ordered it from said they shipped it out that same day 3 day select. It never showed and they chucked UPS under the bus. I asked for the tracking number. They sent it out 3 days after they said they did and shipped it regular ground...

In regards to Amazon, how many of you remember the Sears wish book? Back in the 70's that was Amazon. JC Penny's catalog too. Speigles, I remember all those items coming UPS. Now the virtually don't exist.

Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks for the support Steve
