I think Matt Gaetz just took over first place in the Trump nut hugger competition.
That guy has issues.
He's just a low seniority second term congressman who doesn't even have a seat on the House Oversight Committee which will hear Cohen's testimony. How this knucklehead managed to get a law degree is beyond me but the one thing that Gaetz and Cohen may end up having in common is both are disbarred former attorney's.

Unfortunately I did. he didn't want to talk about the tax evasion and fraud he engaged in. and got indignant when the republicans kept asking him about it.
at one point he made the statement "I thought I was here to talk about trump"

Sure. In his opening statement alone he made it clear that he did a lot more wrong than just agreeing to work for Trump.
"I lied to Congress about when Mr. Trump stopped negotiating the Moscow Tower project in Russia. I stated that we stopped negotiating in January 2016. That was false -- our negotiations continued for months later during the campaign."
