Pay clarification

If I am qualifying to be a driver but am laid off for the day so I decide to pick up hours in the hub, what rate am I being paid?

My driver sup says it's driver pay and my hr rep says I'm still "package".

What they told me was, you make package handling rate if you're doing inside work, you make driver rate if you're driving. Now if they could just get around to putting me on the road...

My manager told me I need to be an hour under by then end of this week and if I wasn't he made it seem like I would be disqualified. I'm on day 10.

Also I didn't work yesterday or today so I literally have 3 days to go from 3 over allowed to 1 under allowed
