Let's see, 700 billion to bailout big business in 2008. 500 billion SO FAR in 2020 (not including the amount the govt has used for the stock market). Meanwhile these companies are using this money to stock buyback to profit their own pockets.

Yet, we sit here and complain about illegal immingrants who use our tax paying money. Btw that estimated cost is around 50 billion.

We argue about small fry stuff. Let's actually be what America should be. A capitalist democratic nation. Let business fail if they can't keep books. Lets make stock buybacks illegal. If they fail, lets support smaller, non-monopoly companies that actually support our local communities.

Ups is bogus in a lot of ways, but the one thing they do right is manage their books. They don't take on debt. They may not spend their money completely wisely but they live within their means. More companies should be like this, not asking for bailouts for a failing business model. I'm looking at you Boeing, Ford, big banks, etc.

If we are going to reform America, we should install an IQ qualifier for voting. Has to be above 120 to be eligible. That alone would fix 95% of Americas problems. It should have never been against black people or women, just stupid people.

That would fix 95% of the problem because somewhere around 20 to 25% of the population would qualify to vote. Then, of course, IQ tests would become politicized, suddenly one party or the other wouldn't have any qualified voters. Although, while we're at it, no politicians with IQ's lower than 125. That would just about flush out congress.

You do know that Ford didn't take bailout money in 2008? And a major reason to bailout big companies is to save jobs. When you're talking spending $50 billion on illegals that's annually. Adds up to really big money over years that could be used for other things like shoring up Social Security. I agree that businesses should fail if they're run irresponsibly but a lot of what's going on now is due to a virus that no one could have foreseen on this scale. Let's let these companies get back to work and get on with life.
