peak .. night delivery

Currently our sunset is at 1607 and we're losing more daylight every day for almost another month. It's just as dark at 530p as 830p. We expect to deliver in the dark every day from Nov thru at least Jan.

Spotlights help. GPS on my iPad helps when there are no street numbers visalbe. Our Automotive would, like us to turn the lights off at every stop but I blaze very light on the vehicle, I want the homeowners to see me.

It does suck to be doing a rural area cold in the dark, but fortunately there isn't much territory coverd by our center that I'm not at least somewhat familiar with.

Its not so much the after dark, but I do hate it, as the late, after dark.
I think it should be common knowledge among the public to expect us out late, maybe even have the local news cover it, the week BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Not two weeks after Halloween. That, to me would be acceptable, this Christmas all year, is crap.
