Already? We are already using them here.
Quite a few retired feeder drivers do that here.I don't get it. WHO in their friend'n right mind would come out of retirement for peak?
They may plan on 8 hour day, but how many might only see 4 or 5 hours? They plan on making PVDs and 8 hour day here.
Already?
How?
That sounds dirtyNo clue I heard today we had 2 PVD's out on road that were meeting an on road.
But feeder driving isn't really work. I'm talking package drivers who go back to work peak. Those dudes have brain damageQuite a few retired feeder drivers do that here.
I guess retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be?
Would be a DOT nightmare with his early preload starts some daysInside employees can’t do it pretty much means they are skirting some type of law/union rule.
I don’t like it.
It should be offered up to inside employees too.
We've been using rentals for months now. On a heavy day we run 29 routes and we have 6 rentals right now, that's how badly we need package cars!We have 5 rentals at my center, have for the past two weeks
Same here.. 3 drivers (PVD) that I know of.. no idea how they are getting away with it this early. Steward said he confronted the center manager & his reply was “training for peak” lolWe are already using them here.
Yep. We short on cars too. Have 5-6 rentals(last 2 months) here cause South Dakota won’t give anymore pkg cars up.We have 6 rentals because of all of the red tag package cars.
