A lot of people come here illegally through the southern border. As of right now most coming to the U.S. illegally are coming across that border. As well as trafficking humans that are used as sex workers and farm workers. As well as illegal drugs. The wall stops most of that.

Ask the Border Patrol. They've been begging for a secure wall for decades. Where Trump's wall was built saw an immediate drastic reduction in illegal border crossings. The wall with the Border Patrol backing it is highly effective.
