President Trump

Yet it is political poison to make adjustments now to try and save it. This is why we are screwed. A politician mentions reforms and he is run out of town. People only care about themselves right now.
Doesn't need to be saved. Needs to pay for what we have refused to pay for.

It will be fine

Another one bites the dust. Pudzer withdraws from labor secretary. Some basic vetting would have uncovered his hiring of an illegal home worker and not follow labor laws. Man, Trump just hires the best people, that's why he's a great CEO.

I'm surprised liberals would point out someone employing an illegal as something negative. They support illegals pouring in. Illegals need to work. What's the problem?

I'm not defending Pudzer, just pointing out the daily hypocrisy.

I've never heard anyone say they want more illegal immigration or they support "illegals pouring in".

Maybe what you're thinking of is people who support immigration policy reform that changes the current laws that actually punish the people who try to immigrate legally and rewards those who enter illegally?

Really? A good portion of the Democrat party wants open borders. Have you seen these protests against Trump? The message is let everyone in.
Think it through bro, if the borders were open, they wouldn't be illegal immigrants.

We need to reform the immigration process because the way it is right now, the people who immigrate illegally are rewarded and the ones who follow the process are punished by having to wait years and years, unless they're filthy rich.

You're right about those doing it legally have to jump through lots of hoops which promotes illegal immigration. That said, it can't be "easy" to come to the US, otherwise immigration rates would be way too high. The focus has to be border security and clamping down on people overstaying visas.

Truth is, stopping illegal immigration, with our current system, would be terrible for the economy.

What we need is a better process to allow people to come here and work legally. We need to tax them in a clear and simple way at a higher rate than citizens, with no social entitlement programs, and no birthright citizenship for their children, at least for a certain number of years.

Putting up a wall, especially without reform policies in place first, is a cartoon-ish approach. At best it is a huge liberal stimulus/government jobs program, at worst it is simply government waste and a handout to the corporations who build it on the backs of the taxpayers.

There is a huge underground "illegal" economy that benefits restaurants, agriculture, construction etc. Ironically, Republicans are probably the owners of most of these businesses.

The big difference between a Trump and Obama news conference.

Most perplexing was Trump’s response to a pointed challenge from an Israeli journalist who suggested that many in the Jewish community say that his brand of politics is propagating racism, xenophobia and a rise of anti-Semitism in the United States.
Trump spent slightly more time answering this thorny question: 230 words. But the first 56 of them centered on one of his most reliable talking points: boasting about his electoral college victory over Hillary Clinton.
“We were not supposed to crack 220,” he said. Turning to Netanyahu on his right, Trump sought some affirmation: “You know that, right?”
Taking on the question more generally, Trump then offered a number of sweeping promises — “We are going to have peace,” “We are going to stop crime” — before pointing out that he has “so many friends” who are Jewish, including his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, both sitting in the front row.
Trump wrapped up by predicting that “a lot of good things” would happen to the country under his watch: “You’re going to see a lot of love. You’re going to see a lot of love. Okay? Thanks.”
Trump didn’t even bother denying the accusations laid out in the reporter’s question.

Hey , guess what ?
That liberal judge's emergency stay about the alleged Muslim ban did not effect the rest of the E.O..
In which Trump lowered the amount of refugees being allowed in from Obama's 100K to 50K for fiscal year 2017 .
With about 35K already in , the resettlement agencies knew they would be shutting down early .

Another memo has been leaked by a pro-refugee group stating an “official guidance” from the U.S. State Department to NPR Wednesday that said refugee arrivals will begin to dry up after March 3.

Refugee-resettlement agencies are scrambling to cut staff and, in some cases, close entire offices since their money making enterprises will end soon .

So what you're saying is Trump's administration is so freaking clueless, they made a pointless executive order and cost the taxpayers countless dollars in legal fees, when they could have just lowered the numbers in a legal way in the first place?

No what I'm implying that since the judge never made a ruling on the merits of the case before him , nor did the 9th Circuit of Appeals .
They used their own opinions to make a ruling where they had no standing to do so .
And the foolish MSM has also fallen victim to their failure .

So Trump out smarted them all .

Yep, Trump is very smart. He tells us all the time how brilliant he is. True genius. So ethical and honest too.
