Do you get paid for the time you are tested? If so no big deal. Other than time not able to do your normal work.

It is a big deal. We wouldn't have to take these tests if not for the idiots who find it too hard to do the right thing.

Ive been at ups for 10 years never heard of random testing. Only if its a fit for duty thing where you looked visibly ed up.

I don't work for ups but I got my pre employment drug test, started working and within my first week I was "random" tested. Haha

What you failed to mention is that UPS ran your background check and decided to pass on hiring you.

Just got hit again for a UA after being tested last month. I was wondering just how many times the rest (who are subject to it) get hit with strings of tests and how many. It seems odd to me how many times it happens within a week of so of returning from vacation. It make we wonder just how truly random the selection is.

I've got a buddy that they know they are getting tested when they come back from
Vacation happens every time. He's a teamster also.

He mentioned several times in ither threads that he has tried on several occasions to get hired here but that his background check has held him back.

Maybe I was un clear, maybe you misunderstood. The background check was not an issue with the hiring process.
