Man I was young……After this pandemic and the corporate gouging I am surprised that most of us are not storming the Capital....
All of us were being played big time over the last 2 years...
I was around in 1997...the day before they strike everybody in our building was in, not even knowing the politics and the aftermath. It was like we were amazed that Carey would follow through with it...all of us were walking with a little swagger after the many years of being beat down that day.

Nor will I vote to strike (note: didn't say not honor a strike)
Lots of the members really do not understand what a strike vote means and how important of negotiating tool it is.The biggest threat to Unions are people like you.
Sitting on the fence, trying to take advantage (of everyone) that you can.

Last contract, only 22% voted and 19% of that approved. Not a big tool.... the bring in to negations.
I'm glad to see the enthusiasm and participation of the new administration.

Are they?Never ending state of emergency. These people are terrible at running a country.
Are they?
That implies they don't know what they're doing. If everything is an emergency to them, or if they constantly fail to address issues before they become emergencies, then, yes, they are terrible at running a country.
