People run into such situations every day. It's not twisted at all. I've asked you directly what would you do in such circumstances. What's twisted is you trying to squirm out of a direct response.

Based upon your hypothetical and within the context you provided, the action would take would be to call 911.
We’ve been over this.
That takes time. A woman is being beaten. Raped. Possibly murdered. You don't call cops until after you attempt to stop it. Or have someone call while you attempt to stop it. Which is an odd answer anyways. You don't believe you should do anything physical but you'd call the cops to do it.

The context and the hypothetical nature of what’s his face‘s question IMO is just dumb.
I’ll stick with 911 in this specific situation.
I hope he is getting what he needs from it.
I suspect the van man has the BC as his only place of fellowship with other people I suspect he doesn’t attend a church or other community groups.

@Thebrownblob I've asked very direct questions to which he's tried to squirm out of but finally we know that if he was witnessing a rape or beating he would let it happen until the cops arrived. Assuming the woman isn't dead by then or the perpetrator hadn't disappeared. Onward Christian soldier!

I haven't attended regular in years. I do however run errands for my.dad, sister, and nieces so if you're trying to suggest I'm some recluse you'd be wrong. I spend most afternoons down at McDonald's where they know me by name. Good internet, good music, and good air conditioning. Yes, it's an exciting life I lead. But I would never, ever let another person get harmed without attempting to stop it.

I firmly believe you will be judged by the measure in which you judge me as we all will when we judge others.
I certainly respect anyone who makes the decision to step in differently from the manner which I would step in pertaining to this ridiculous hypothetical , entrapping question for the sake of an internet message board.
I feel blessed to be in the company of those who individuals feel they want to trap with stupid questions.

Why do you feel it’s an entrapping question? And a honest hypothetical morality questions that are a pretty good view and into someone’s character.
When my daughters were younger, and their boyfriends would take them out for a date I would tell those boys take good care of her. Certainly meaning, if my daughters were being assaulted by another man, they would step in and protect them Not merrily stand on the sidelines and call 911.
That’s what they told me they would do and that situation I probably would never allow them to take my daughter out.
Again, I’m not not sure what is entrapment about that question?
