I agree that is the sad part. Although we do have a responsibility to not be deceived. And to call out the deceivers, whether they are doing it maliciously or ignorantly.

But you would have to admit it would certainly be easier for you to throw out the parts of the Bible you don’t agree with that suits you, and then tell everyone you have a personal connection to the Holy Spirit that tells you that that is perfectly fine.
