I would just turn up my 401k for a week. We survived without the money so far. That should be an option to put it in your 401kBut when do you know when the retro is going in?

That has nothing to do with UPS firing you.Hopefully the UPS decision makers would consider this similar enough to stealing, and fire you.

UPS pays you. You tell them what % to send to the government as income tax. At the end of the year you reconsile the difference as "filing your taxes".Hopefully the UPS decision makers would consider this similar enough to stealing, and fire you.
Claiming too many dependents isn't stealing but you could end owing a penalty to the IRS.UPS pays you. You tell them what % to send to the government as income tax. At the end of the year you reconsile the difference as "filing your taxes".
If you mess up you either get a refund or owe the IRS at the end of the year. Claiming 15 dependents is never stealing, it's simply saying I owe taxes like someone with 2 brady bunch families.
And pay a penalty if you owe too much.Claiming too many dependents isn't stealing but you could end owing a penalty to the IRS.
Bad idea for sure, but trying to talk to a dumdum who thinks changing dependants is stealing from UPS.And pay a penalty if you owe too much.
The amount that UPS is paying you doesn't change no matter how many deductions you have.Bad idea for sure, but trying to talk to a dumdum who thinks changing dependants is stealing from UPS.
Yup, Austinhero=dumdumThe amount that UPS is paying you doesn't change no matter how many deductions you have.
Number of dependents is between you and the IRS. Has nothing to do with UPS.Bad idea for sure, but trying to talk to a dumdum who thinks changing dependants is stealing from UPS.
please reread the postsNumber of dependents is between you and the IRS. Has nothing to do with UPS.
It came up with "RTRO" abbreviation next to it on check.
I believe it may have been your stipend for all of your valuable contributions on Brown Café.I saw a separate deposit in my account and discovered it's our retro check! Anyone else ?

This is very true. Not to mention what the IRS considers, "stealing",makes UPS look like amateurs. Have a 401k or IRA try turning 73 without withdrawal. Not going to happen the IRS wants the money it deserves, for the past years you didn't withdraw and pay your taxes like a good little citizen. Penalties and back taxes are massive in some cases.Claiming too many dependents isn't stealing but you could end owing a penalty to the IRS.
He'd be owing me money...just sayinYou're mistaken.
RTRO means Rut-Roh. It's a check from @scooby0048 for services rendered.
