You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
Management here is acting like we finally have everything under control.

Yet from what I’m hearing we aren’t really lighted the hubs we get stuff from are just rolling trailers.

any other hubs people know of rolling work?

Rolling a ton of trailers here. They are begging people to come in every Saturdays. Telling them to pick the # of stops and what area.

I’ve got a buddy that’s supposed to be feeder coverage. Pick ups have been heavy so he hasn’t ran package in months. Working 70 hours every week.

sorts and feeders running 7 days per week and they still can’t come close to getting caught up.

Remember back in the days before the internet if you ordered something they would say 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.Let’s just start that all over again.

I’m in Twin cities area, it looks like downtown Baghdad here. @rod better keep his cracker ass up north, where it’s safer.
A friend of mine lives fairly close to the riot area. He has sent me photos that are unbelievable. I heard that a MINMN package guy was trapped in his car and had to be escorted out of the area by police. Shortly after that, all cars were told to come in.

Wild times.

I cover feeder jobs that go to all 3 hubs.

Lucky he wasn't dragged out and beaten with a brick. Remember Reginald Denny?

In our hub CPU volume is being rolled (I want to say 30 trailers from yesterday) and the DM wants us to find movement to other hubs.

so basically we’re just kicking the can down the road because the hub can’t finish the volume. Even if they could we don’t have the man power to move all of
the work. I was talking with our night sort dispatch supervisor who has preloads that he doesn’t have movement for, nevermind the CPUs that we magically have to find movement for (bring on the gypsy carriers who can’t speak English wearing flip flops)

Anyone signing up for 6th punches is being brought in but now people are getting burned out. We need a dozen casual feeder drivers to make it through the summer and they’re trying to hire them for 21/hr. Take a guess how that’s going to work out.

yay UPS!
