Rough morning for the competition.

What you don't understand is that this is a matter that has been festering in the relationship between contractors and X regarding the issue of preventable accidents as it pertains to contractors and X and it has been that way for a long time The accident in question involved contractors and despite the fact that Ground has divested itself of all liability with regard to contractor wrecks contractors are still treated in a fashion whereby you are guilty until you've proven yourself innocent. Rest assured that line haul contractor will be treated in that fashion before this matter can be cleared. You Express grunts do not understand the difference in the relationship . BBSAM is correct by pointing out this difference as well as the fact that X isn't going to give an expletive deleted about the deceased because she was not an employee and therefore not part of Fat Freddy's so called "family" but undoubtedly the first item of business from X's perspective is to make certain that they are absolved of any potential economic loss.

Did you ever stop to think that as a FedEx contractor maybe he was curious as to what fedex would do in this case, because he might (God willing he won't have to) have to deal with something like this in the future?
I know what Fedex would do. They do it with all accidents. They pull out the book and go line by line to determine whether or not an accident was "preventable" or " not preventable". That is it. That is EXACTLY what they do. It is a fact of life and not a commentary on anyone's death.

Unfortunately, many of us that have been around for a long time have known contractors that have dealt with fatalities. Proper triangle placement would be a factor in determining preventable status. What caused the initial breakdown would be a factor as well. Was there a safer place to pull over that was accessible? All legitimate questions that can be answered to help prevent future accidents.

Yes but if the damn thing simply quit running that so called "safer place" is wherever it rolled to a stop. Again it's still that same issue. X doesn't have a nickel at stake but the first item of business for that so called "INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR to prove himself innocent in that kangaroo court called "loss prevention" . No wonder the turn over is what it is and hopefully this peak it will finally reach a tipping point.

I just deleted 130 off topic, insults, and quotes. I don't keep up with FedEx forums, but come on. Someone died at work and didn't make it home.

She hasn't been "probed" in a looooong time.

You flip your lid over the suggestion that Fedex will deem an incident preventable (and it just might) and how you demand respect for this deceased individual. However, in the same thread, you now make sexually suggestive comments about a fellow courier, amongst other very disrespectful comments.

bsam is so full of hate and bitterness that he decided to use a post about an individual that was killed while at work to vent that bitterness with a sarcastic and unnecessary post. Say what you want about me but that is just a sad attitude from someone to display. Him and his friends can spin it anyway they want but when someone is killed is not time to vent your personal agenda against the company.

Just stop. Please stop spreading negativity, it's awful.
