Chances are somebody would have arrived soon afterward with another warrant based on a receipt of stolen property charge. Once again Giuliani admitted that it was Hunter Biden's property. He's not longer a federally commissioned law enforcement official. He's now just another private citizen and for the time being in the possession of a law license.

Rudy said the warrant required they take all electronic devices in that residence. Beyond that how would I, or you, know what was in the warrant? Rudy said that on national tv so there's clear evidence of something that could be used in court against him if not true. And it's already known how he obtained it. The owner of the computer repair shop where Biden dropped off his laptop took ownership of the laptop for failure to return and pay for repairs. He then viewed the contents, got worried about what he was seeing, contacted some people, and eventually the FBI took ownership of the laptop but copies of the hard drive made their way to the New York Post and Giuliani before that.

Right. so the question is did Giuliani illegally obtain the Biden hard drive. The people who the FBI investigation is currently focused on in addition to Giuliani are Parnas, Fruman, Lutskenko Poroshenko and Toensing. Hunter Biden is not a named target of the investigation nor a named person of interest. Now can you directly tie Hunter Biden to this particular investigation through any other means than just another right wing conspiracy theory?

The New York Times, Washington Post and NBC News on Saturday issued corrections to stories about Rudy Giuliani, retracting reporting that said the FBI had warned him about being targeted by a Russian influence operation.
And if it isn't it will be proven so. Or the Biden administration will realize they may expose their own corruption by pursuing Rudy and others and will let it drop. I'm betting on the latter.

Are you on drugs? Warrants must be narrowly defined , specifically focused and targeted along with proven just cause if they have any hope to gain court approval. Giuliani could have handed the FBI the hard drive that contained the missing minutes of the Watergate tapes and it wouldn't have made any difference because it would not have been targeted by the warrant just as Hunter Biden is not being targeted by this specific investigation.
Now Rudy Giuliani is 77 years old but still shrewd enough to at least attempt to foil the investigation anyway he can by trying to induce the FBI into taking nontargeted evidence and go running to Fox "News" try to line up it's unsuspecting audience in his favor.
Unfortunately for poor old Rudy he was dealing with the top professionals in the business who are his equal and a whole lot more.
And do you know what was in the warrant beyond what Rudy said?
It sure as hell didn't include Hunter Biden. The people targeted were named in the warrant and publicly disclosed. Don't you get what he was trying to do? He was trying to find a way to get the warrant tossed based on the claim of an illegal search and seizure .He would have gone right back to the judge who signed off on the warrant and cried foul.

All electronic devices that were pertinent to the investigation and those individuals named in the investigation and Biden is not one of them. RG claims that he told the warrant servers that it was the property of Hunter Biden. Now since Biden was not a named suspect in the investigation what reason would the servers have had to take property belonging to a person who is not a named suspect?

ALL electronic devices? Did they take his car? His TV? His stereo ? His microwave? His penis inflator? Well, maybe not given all the trouble Rockefeller had with his. There's almost nothing in the average person's house today that doesn't have electronic components in them making them an electronic device in one form or another.
Most important of all. Hunter Biden is said to be a target of a separate federal investigation. The key point here is SEPARATE. Whatever property of Hunter Biden Giuliani claims to have in his possession before it could be used in any prosecution of Biden Giuliani would first have to be prove that he obtained it legally.
In the meantime the best assistance you cluckers and holy rollers can provide to help your political heroes would be to take your "whataboutisms and put them in the drawer until we see how this thing turns out.
