Haven't you noticed that we seem to be getting fewer yet much larger and heavier packages....I would rather deliver 100 Enstrom boxes at 3 cent per piece profit than 10 Pottery Barn boxes at 20 cents per piece profit.
Profit per piece could not possibly be the only formula used to determine whether or not to walk away from an account....and if it is, our current competition will end up doing to us, exactly what we did to our former completion during our expansion years.....What was the name of that parcel company that used to make fun of UPS and outnumbered us 10 to 1 on the road?(the name escapes me at the moment)
