I will give them 1 Saturday during peak. Would not mind doing saturdays if they stop lying about how you come in on Saturday to do your work to make Monday easier and low and behold I have work from another route that equals to the stops I did on that Saturday

I have to give our center credit in that they keep their word in that regard.

We just rebid this year. You either bid mon-fri or tue-sat

The fact that the union was cool with rebids gives me another excuse not to come in.

I worked no Saturdays last Peak and my Mondays were fine. Had I worked a Saturday I would of had off area crap on Monday.

I was told by an old timer in my center that during Peak I will go back to Mon-Fri and Saturdays will be an optional ( yeah right) 6th day. I haven't heard anything from supervisors. Any insight on this?

Your best bet during peak is to get as many hours a day as you can Monday through Thursday so you don’t have hours available for Saturday’s. Words to live by.

Ours were at first too. Then they really start cutting. Mondays are now 11 hour days.

Which is funny because some centers went to 70 last year.

I wonder if the 70hrs thing is only relative to running a ground operation 6 days a week. We don't have Saturday ground and there is no talk of it anytime in the near future.
