Shoe thread!

Not sure if there is a thread up on this yet but let’s see what people recommend for shoes/boots.. Iv been wearing Danner boots for the past 3yrs and love them. There is zero break in period and extremely comfortable, they do however make your feet sweat a lot since they are not breathable. Was thinking of getting shoes for the summer and keep the boots for winter/rain days

The higher the # on NB's the better comfort & durability. 6's are perfect 'shoes' for UPS shorts weather.

I wore ECCO . $250/pair. Tracker low cut for summer. Tracker II for rainy times. And a pair of insulated high boots for the really cold days, have had them since the 90's. They really show no wear for boots that old. And I got them from a Police Equipment Catalog.

Those boots wouldn't have worked in my old building. We were working up on slotted metal walkways, not solid floors.

YES.
Have learned that Costco workers use them a lot.

I just bought a pair of 626s online from NB for less than $100.. I really like them so far

I got a great pair of shoes through the marketplace. HAIX Eagle Tactical 2.0. Made for first responders,they come in both a shoe and a boot. Used them through peak and the only time I slipped was on a moss covered rock. $175 for shoes and $185 for boots.
