Yep I already have my A license. Besides the basics What is UPS looking for in the pre trip
If you have time, get a copy of the "UPS" pre-trip for feeder.

Will they be testing you at your home center, or do you have to go to a hub?

Ups is creating 15 new feeder runs for the new Amazon hub and are looking for drivers to go into feeders. Does anyone having experience doing feeder runs out of Amazon hub? I heard that there will be a trailer leaving every hour and there is usually one guy just assign to the Amazon yard but it's all rumors.
Why would ups do that with Amazon starting to move their own stuff now?

Amazon always moved their own stuff via 3rd party contracts. Now that they have their own trailers they can bid out each individual load instead of the run.

The entire reason amazon is building that facility is to divert volume to the post office and deliver same day with contractors

Mke1 is a million square feet and right behind it mke 5 is a half million
The only volume we get now is for our extended centers

It will be better for me I'll get my CDL and not have to go into feeders right away. I can wait until I get more seniority and don't have to cover. The classes start next week Ups is training 15 drivers for when Amazon opens in the fall, that's is what I was told.
