Republican National Committee (RNC) chairman Reince Priebus will, on Monday, send a letter to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s personal tax attorney Rorrie Gregorio, asking her if Clinton has paid the tax rates she expects billionaires and millionaires to pay — or if she’s not leading by example.

“As Hillary and Bill Clinton’s financial and estate planner, as well as their personal accountant, I am writing to you on this annual tax day to inquire as to whether Hillary Clinton has chosen to put her money where her mouth is, and pay the additional taxes she is hypocritically proposing that other Americans of similar income pay, but not said she is willing to voluntarily pay herself,”

The Sorry State of Corporate Taxes | CTJReports

Most of the biggest companies aren’t paying anywhere near 35 percent of their profits in taxes and far too many aren’t paying U.S. taxes at all. Most multinationals are paying lower tax rates here in the United States than they pay on their foreign operations.”
  • 111 of the companies enjoyed at least one year in which their federal income tax was zero or less.
  • 26 companies, including Boeing, General Electric, Priceline.com and Verizon, enjoyed negative income tax rates over the entire five-year period, despite combined pre-tax profits of $170 billion.
  • Of the 125 multinational companies in this sample, two-thirds paid a lower U.S. tax rate than the rate they paid to foreign governments on their foreign profits. On average, their foreign effective tax rate was 12 percent larger than their U.S. effective rate.
  • The total amount of federal income tax subsidies enjoyed by the 288 profitable corporations over the five years was $362 billion.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts allows for persons to pay their taxes at a higher rate if they wish to do so .
Less than .00001% use this option and not a single elected democrat has ever selected this option .

Romney paid 14.1% in 2011, the last year available. Clinton paid 35.7% in 2014 and 29.5% in 2011.

The Clinton's tax returns are readily available, are Trumps?

i was listening to stacy herbert on the keiser report, she says shes lived in both UK and america. she said the taxes were roughly the same, but in UK she noticed she actually got something for her taxes, whereas in america she noticed she didnt get anything mentioned the dilapitated roads, medical bureacracy, etc.

max keiser commented on the fact that 50% of all taxes is spent on military empire in usa.

Citizens will receive more or less benefits depending on their income ranges. The higher you go in the income range of any country, the less you are part of the majority. Politicians are voted in to represent the majority. Comparing two countries different political structures, general standards of living, and income tax structure is ignorant at best.

i would say the opposite is true. the more you go up in the income range the more you are part of the country in the sense you control the political / economic system. politicians work for the 0.1% or whatever in america. the bottom 70% has no influence over policy.

and yea you can and should compare countries and its not done enough if u ask me. it will give you some context ;)
