Teamster Buyout?

Lol not really it’s very strange that nobody knows anything at this point and now the Union is not even talking about it. For something this big that’s supposed to be coming out very shortly. It’s curiously silent.

Not in the loop anymore…but I know the Company wants out of their (defined pension plans)..I expect nothing will happen with the Teamsters’ run (monetary pension plans) /West Coast and a few others. If anything I expect the Company to offer a buy out for all the services years as a part timer under the Central and Southern.

As far as getting permission from the Union don’t expect to much resistance, they have a well documented record of doing what they want.

This is ironic—-the strike in ‘97 was all about the Company wanting the pension—-now they want to shed that obligation.
