UPS didn't screw up :censored2:....Amazon screwed up and threw us under the bus.

That was my last peak in package....after what that Christmas Eve turned into I left for feeders at the next opportunity.
What are you blabbering about. UPS refused to hire appropriately and could have charged alot more then they did. This has been confirmed by people on the inside and in the know. Go into management if you want to defend UPS during that time!

Well, we don’t know the details yet and I think a lot of people are imagining they’re going to offer this buyout to people who haven’t reached either the years or the age to qualify for insurance.

I have no idea why anyone would take that offer, but I suppose that will be their choice.
If you’ve already got the years and you’re insurance squared away. Why not

I wonder when the people working around the CEO will see the writing on the wall. Look what she did to Home Depot. A CEO who gives away large bulk volume then worries about the stock price, then tries to unload employees to keep her mega salary growing.

I'm for more retirement security and benefits over a "Show me the money" contract again. Sure we make a killing on profits, are yield is good, but other companies don't pay dividends and are doing quite well.

Maybe we can get a CEO who actually worked for UPS.
I don’t think Carol’s going anywhere, I have no idea why.

Yep, some guys have a spouse who also gets healthcare coverage that might be sufficient for them, even if they’re not 55 years old yet. And you’re right everybody’s situation is different. Depending on the kind of money they’re offering people to leave. It could be the deciding factor for a large number of people.
