Agree. the union leadership get outsmarted every contract since 97. We may get gains but hidden in fine print are the concessions ( may,if, in the event of) are magic words for UPS.

Best UPS healthcare around, PEER80 (Well funded) and .61 cents to pension for a total $10.46 an hour. All this and $1.80 in raises by Feruary 2018...... Thanks Andy!

Why is Realbrown1 a hater?

Why is the IRB at local 104 for the last 2 days.

And thank god we got a pension contributions increase.

We already went 2 years without one.

The fact you cried for months about the IRB and IBT being at our local when nothing happened shows you don't know jack. Save us the TDU hype and wait till you get results or some kind of proven wrongdoing.

Isn't that what you said about Rome A? Not only is that piece of garbage gonna be expelled from the Teamsters, unless he rats other officers out he's looking at getting the soap treatment in federal prision, haha!

Two years of no pension increase is correct. The Southwest members lost $1.25 per hour from their pensions over the past three years. The rest of the Western Conference UPSers will jump to $11.60 per hour on August 1st, that's $1.14 per hour more than us.

Thanks for making that point! So now compare their peer80 retiree healthcare to ours! You see they will be paying up the butt for Heathcare because all the money went to pension and they did not put any in healthcare. You and your TDU lug heads need to do some research next time! Like I said before Thanks Andy!

Rome is a great teamster. What he's done as far as organizing is pure heart and soul of what a teamster is. He the man.

They go to every local. It's standard protocol.

The IRB for sure does not go to every local, unless there are problems.

The IBT however, absolutely is supposed to audit every subordinate entity "periodically", with the notable and possible exception of the Ohio Conference?

See you just exposed the stupidity that is tdu.

See, you just exposed the "stupidity" that is td"YOU".

They do make random visits to locals that have no "problems". They'll come in, ask for 15-20 different items, make copies, interview staff and leave with no report back to the local. And the IBT (through the per cap on the locals) pays your dues money for those fishing trips.

I'm gonna give you all some good sound advise.

Do not speculate on these accusations.... Just wait for the results of the investigation or you will look like an idiot. (Just ask realbrown1, he is living proof.)

They have been in our local in the past one more than one occasion like you mentioned. Never heard back from them after they left.
It's a shame how you can't explain to some of these people on here how real life actually works because they think they know it all.
