I think for my grandparents they were reasonable investments because they lived very close to most of the time shares and could enjoy them quite easily. But younger people do not really want to vacation in the same spot every year so they’re really not a great idea for most people anymore. Especially with the advent of Airbnb and things like that

You grow up with some terrible people and disputes like this happening over minor crap, a nasty letter sounds refreshing to be honest.

I did not grow up living in a nice neighborhood lol. That came some years later after I make adult decisions for my life

I spent a couple of days at one with my friend. It used to be a hotel resort thing. It looked like apartments and basically stuff to do like shuffleboard, hayrides blah blah. Not particularly nice or exotic. 2 room full kitchen.....def livable.

Here's the thing....you could basically do the same at any full kitchenette hotel/motel. And leave. Without a second thought.
And it was a place 2 hours from our homes(his Dad's too) that I would never want to stay a couple days at...no lake, beach,mountains or Vegas.....any of that. There is literally thousands of places like the condo around here. MOF, this place would be a day trip otherwise.

Plummeting home values? Mine(value) tripled in 6 years.

Current home I’m in I bought in 2006 right around $240,000 it’s Worth 490 K now

I’d like to have recourse against my neighbors and them to have recourse against me that didn’t involve trying to kill each other or having a drag out legal battle in a court room.

Living with my mom while at top rate.
She has 30k left on her mortgage and 2 years until social security kicks in.
We holding it down until then, though she might end up living with me for the rest of her life.

Will not be homeless as long as I’m around though.

I’ll start out by saying, I’ve never been a conspiracy theorist. I’ve always questioned in my mind though, things that just don’t seem or feel right. More and more it really seems that there is a lot more going on than what we average people know or can see. There are so many coincidental things that are spread out far enough for the average person not to notice. I’m starting to get a little nervous. And no, I’m not ready for a tin foil hat yet. What do y’all think?

But honestly... I think on some level I knew it was true all along, I just didn't want to believe it. I only just in the past couple of months realized I can't keep pretending I don't think this is going on anymore.

It's been going on since at least Malthus, and the book, the Population Bomb (totally discredited by its own failed predictions, btw) had a major influence on elite thinking. Just like with global warming, doesn't matter how wrong every prediction that is made by the alarmists' models, they still are believed without question. It is clearly some mental defect that these people suffer from.

Conspiracy minded folk who take something reasonable that is definitely happening, as it always has happened and view it like it’s the end of the world.
