Do you see where this is happening? Frozen wonderland. I would deliver there anyway. Never going to happen in populated areas.


A lot of the lakeside bars in Minnesota are in very populated areas---far from being the frozen tundra.

Relax with the drones.

They're good for delivering 3 lb packages to areas with no roads, or pizzas, but anything heavier and they're not so good.

There's an energy problem, same reason we don't have the Jetson cars the 60's cartoons promised us.

It costs so much more energy to lift the packages to the destination vs. roll them there, you can't fly every package to their destination competitively against a company that rolls them, even over the "last mile".

So drones are great for pizzas (light payload, very low stop density) or delivering medicine in Rwanda (no roads), but that's the limit of it for now. Unless someone invents a nuclear fusion battery for the drones.
