How bout a slowdown? It'll probably happen anyway due to the volume and fatigue. Might as well say we're doing it on purpose and get something out of it lol

I believe a slowdown is actually illegal. Not saying they don't happen but you don't announce it to the company and public.

if everybody took all the lunch and break time they had at the proper times
It would accomplish the same thing

Probably would but most members would freak out and ignore the union if they told them too. They all whine and cry when the union agrees with the company that you have to take your lunch as it is.

Its always a flavor of the week, every year. center manager anounces at pcm that lunch MUST be taken between the 3rd and 6th hour, per contract. About half the guy's eyes immediately well up with tears. Priceless

The union can legally strike at anytime. No one has said they can’t, meaning gov. The rest of your post is you being management. Vote no raises for drivers in the future!

We need the moderators to add another emoji to rate the posts. This one deserves a crackpipe emoji. Have you bothered reading the "no strike/ no lockout"? The Union would be financially responsible for losses of the company.

A good, united Union knows this is the time to demand pay increases. The Union has UPS by the proverbial balls. A calling out sick strike is a great idea. If the Union wants to play hard ball. Now is the time. A work stoppage would immediately effect the economy worldwide. The President would get involved. Step up Union. You get a big fat friend so far!
This union is the best you shut your mouth. Our unions bigly perfectly succeeded in negotiating a 2 week pay for those who test positive or live with some1 who does only 1 week after it was federally mandated and then did nothing more. What else can you ask for?

UPS vitality over all should be most important to each individual employee.
The health of the company is the health of your future retirement and security. Whether you are FT, PT, management or union.
If your leadership, unions and or work ethic is not focused on this as a whole and actively trying to work together to find solutions to any problems and seeing all the little whiny stuff as being just a component of the total, than you are contributing to damaging your future and mine.

Those little whinny things can have big consequences. So they aren't so whinny after all are they?
