Govt. Doles Out $125 Billion In “Improper Payments”

With the national debt and federal spending at an all-time high several U.S. government agencies joined forces to make an outlandish $125 billion in “improper payments” last year, an increase of more than $16 billion from the previous year.
The impropriety is so pervasive that President Obama issued a much-ballyhooed order last summer commanding federal agencies to create a “Do Not Pay List” to protect taxpayer resources and stem abuse. It has done nothing to protect increasingly scarce taxpayer dollars, according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the investigative arm of the U.S. Congress.
There seems to be no end in site to the waste, according to GAO investigators, who diplomatically state that “challenges” remain in “determining the full extent of improper payments across the federal government and in reasonably assuring that effective actions are taken to reduce improper payments.” Some agencies don’t even bother reporting improper payments, the GAO says, so the full extent of the problem will never really be known.

This kind of crap has been going on forever with the federal government. Strange how you act like it's something new, and then try to pin it on Obama. What could Trump do about it? Nothing. He isn't qualified to do anything but be a media whore. He's a HUGE maroon, as in a HUGE idiot.

"It's always been going on"............that doesn't mean it should continue. STOP IT!!! Quit paying $$$$$.

Yep, Mr. Bankrupt (3 times) could save us from that overspending Kenyan in the White House. More armchair quarterbacking from the team that keeps running into it's own end zone.

Not to mention even though he has declared bankruptcy, he seems to still be doing pretty well.... also means he's had an actual job in his lifetime. How many has Obama had?

He's sure acting like one. The funny thing is, that he's the best you have to offer. Name anyone. Fat Boy bowed-out because he knew it was futile to even try, and the rest of them are too scared to come out and actually say that they are running. At that point, the media laser locks-on, and all of the skeletons in the closet come a runnin'. You've got nothing.

Herman Cain is nothing more than a "also ran" in the field of republican candidates.

No one in the repubilcan party is taking him serious. He ran for senate and lost. He supports goverment stimulis programs and that wont fly with tea party people.

Claim to fame: he was the founder of a crappy pizza parlor.

Peace.

For the umpteenth time.......he hasn't announced that he's a candidate !!!! However, Haley Barbour has announced today that he will not run.
So, how does it feel to have your party vascilating between obstructionist pukes and reality TV sideshow?

The Republicans once had a viable black candidate. Everyone loved what he had to say. Everyone. Of course he came in 6th place behind Pat Buchanan in the primaries. So if the conservative message that was so eloquently laid out by Alan Keyes seemed to strike all the right chords and yet he lost so humiliatingly, is it also "playing the race card" to suggest that he lost because he was black? I ask this honestly because I have never heard a plausible reason for his poor showing and therefore have assumed it to be in large part because of his race. I am, however, open to competing schools of thought on the subject.
