This is far more clear and coherent than any point that van has made about this subject. And I don't even believe that's the point he was trying to make. If it was, he did a terrible job of making his point. I don't concede your coherent point, but I'll let it be for sake of argument.
I never made that claim, so I won't counter.
It depends on areas, I believe. Ethnic Russians probably aren't fleeing to Russia for the same reason I refuse to flee my commie infested state while many other conservatives leave in droves.

Perhaps, but we will get a good chance to see how your way works out. You know with an Afghanistan back to being a terror state, Russia invading it’s neighbors, China doing god knows what after this disgraceful show.
You people want it both ways. Oh we will be able to keep Russia economically isolated, while at the same time we don’t want to be world police or a powerful military presence in global affairs.

build a big wall. improve our defenses. We went to afghanistan to kill Osama bin laden. that was fine. Staying there and trying to prop up a countries leadership was not. half the country may like us the other half hates us and will look for opportunities to kill us. Putting our kids there so they have someone to shoot at for 20 years was stupid.
But does the pharmaceutical industry want to kill everyone including their cash cow?
