That’s Craptacular
I totally understand. That's why I said I agree with you to a extent. Having kids just changes so much.

I don't really know how to explain it. I think he deserves a chance but part of me wants him to rot in a gutter. You're right though, convicts need jobs or they will just go back to their old ways.
I understand but Indecision is right....someone is gonna say the wrong thing to this guy too many times and end up on the receiving end of an HR complaint. It’s not worth losing your job over.

Sounds like you'll be losing your job for doing something stupid at work . It's not your problem . Just your mouth, irgnore him and do your job .it's called adulting .

No Im not too much of pusillanimous to do anything. Thats why Im here crying in a forum about how unfair life is in brown, like the rest of you guys. Listen I may fantasize that guy takin a dirt nap doesn’t mean Ill act on it. I value my job, and my life. A guy like him, who has nothing to lose but everything to gain is a danger to my values. How’s that for adulting?

Seeing as a company who supports organizations against human trafficking and since there is a high rate of children trafficked and why they are. I was shocked they had this guy not only on their payroll but now they have him out there interacting. Putting others at danger.

Curious, how do you know he's a child molester. Did you just look his name up when he was hired?

No it was strange, I looked up a buddys arrest and scrolled passed a guy that looked familiar couldn’t place it. Realized it was this seasonal guy who loaded my truck. Noticed his charge, looked him up and found out he spent time for two counts of molestation 9 and 10 year old girls. Next thing you know it he’s permanent. Horrible loader, ray charles could do a better load. There were better people that they didn't even try to call back.

I’m not condoning sex crimes against anyone. But if the guy can’t get a job....he goes on welfare and our taxes pay for that. The guy is capable of working....let him work and don’t harass him.

I used to know a driver in my old building who was once (prior to his ups career) arrested and charged with attempted murder for stabbing a guy. I didn’t go around telling people we worked with about it cause it’s none of my business.

Are you being harassed at work?

You should offer him some tips on his loading. Maybe something to the effect of, “Just imagine the boxes are little kiddos and the closer to the bulkhead you put them, the more desirable they are to you.” Either you’ll get decked on sight and he’ll be terminated for workplace violence or your air will finally end up in the right section. In any case, problem solved.

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help the become what they are cable of yaa da yaa da yaa da... That may be true for a thief, drug addict and depressed individuals. Hell you do that early enough you may not have guys (or women) molesting children. This is a whole different animal.

These types need to be segregated by any means. For the humanitarian, put them on shutter island. Keep them away from destroying other lives for their own needs, and keep their intentions at bay by having them break rocks.

We had one convicted while part time, did little time and had to register. Few years later went into pkg. A year or two into full time he is delivering a elementary school, and his ex is there to pick up her kids. She calls the law, knowing his history. Law pulls him off car and calls UPS, takes him in for violating order of 1,000 ft. He has child Porn on phone as well, now doing 23 years. His ex is suing UPS for allowing him access to kids on daily basis.

Everyone has a right to know if they are working alongside a dangerous person. An ex felon is that, no matter how "reformed" they are. Right to know but not right to harass
