I honestly can not remember the last BBQ here. We had to scream Christmas Eve just to get sandwich meat brought in here. You other guys are lucky!

I always wondered why our center never took advantage of more socializing away from work.

Here is why. We fall into two categories -1. older employers with families that work too much overtime and want to spend more time with their families away from work. And, 2. younger employees without dependants that want to work as much overtime as possible.

I'm 35 with three kids and have been with UPS for 14 years. I now fall into the 1st category, and used to be in the 2nd. I really enjoy the company of most of my co-workers, but don't have the time to socialize with them. I'd love to but got lots to do. I try to get together with them for luch as a substite probably more than I should.

The Hershey Park Day thing is open to all who want to go, we normally have about 40 to 50 people go each year,we have a good time. and its mixed. 1 rule no shop talk .
