You already had your answer. It will be picked up later today. You can't change that with a phone call. And it doesn't matter what time today it gets picked up since it won't be processed until tonight. Guaranteed by Wednesday but could possibly get there tomorrow if its close enough.

UPS "forgot to pick up" two days in a row? Somebody is either feeding you a line of BS or you are talking to an employee who don't have a clue. I'd march into that UPS Store and choke someone. After all we are the "tightest ship in the shipping business".
